Who's Abrazos?
Abrazos ('embrace' in Spanish) is a studio
created by the organisers of the non-profit TangoSingapore, promoting and teaching tango since 1999.
You may also come to practicas to buy shoes, meet people or observe classes. No registration needed.

How to Enrol at Abrazos
No partner is required for most classes, but registration is required.

Course by Course: Most lower level courses are open to public. Register before start date, or email us to join waiting list for next available date. Payment can be made on day of lesson.

By Subscription: Dojo Membership costs $250/qtr for 12 credits (8 hrs + 4 milongas). $450/qtr for 22 credits (16 hrs + 6 milongas). $600/qtr for 32 credits (24 hrs + 8 milongas). Email us for more information.

Beginner's course starts first week of every month. You can also "try out" any weekend at the pre-milonga Open Classes.

Course Level 1 : 0-6 mths (connected / salon-ready / "suavé")

Systematic progressive course for basic social dancing skills, focusing on connection and rhythm in Salon Embrace:
» 1A) Caminata (walk)
» 1B) Cambio de Frente (change of front)
» 1C) Giros (turns)
» 1D) Cadencia (rhythm change)
Lesson: 16-32 hrs
Practice: 100 tandas

Level 1 topics are repeated monthly. Beginners may need to attend some topics more than once. It is important to attend both lessons and practicas or milongas every week, and stay focused for 6 months.
